当被问及当年是否关注“林疯狂”的新闻，小崔笑着说道：“当然，我们当然知道林疯狂。那时候我还小，大概10岁左右，但我也听到了这些消息。所有的中国篮球运动员都知道林书豪、易建联、姚明、王治郅，如果你在NBA打球，中国球员乃至中国人都会知道你。”

在2011年12月27日，尼克斯队宣布签下林书豪。在2012年，林书豪打出了著名的“林疯狂”表现（包括在对阵科比的湖人时轰下38分）。
